PAT TESTING

PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) is an important part of any health and safety policy, and regulations which states employers have a legal responsibility to all employees and self-employed persons to take reasonable steps to ensure their safety when using electrical equipment.

All testing is carried out in accordance with the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) code of practice, and M.B. Electrical carry full public liability insurance.

All our electrical testing equipment is calibrated on a regular basis to ensure the most accurate test possible.

All your electrical appliances will be tested for a number of faults and be given a pass or fail status. This will be indicated with a sticker highlighting the result. A printed report is provided on completion showing all the test results. Any faults will be reported and where possible, minor electrical faults will be rectified so the equipment is made safe and can be passed.
