Finally - we have found a robust and high quality cage with a narrow bar top for hamsters. This has two separately opening top doors, so ideal if you want to have things hanging from the bars in half the cage - you can still get access from the other half. The cage measures 82x51x30cm. It comes with a bowl and water bottle. One of the pictures shows a stand - this is available separately (please ask). Also please note this cage is too small for two rabbits despite what the picture may suggest.

We have had enquiries regarding packaging of this cage - it will be delivered with a courier. We double (and sometimes triple) box all our fragile cages, protecting the corners carefully with additional padding. Where necessary we will remove cages from their original boxes in order to pack them more safely for transit - the boxes these cages arrive in are not suitable for handling by couriers! We do care about the environment and all our cardboard boxes are recycled from local businesses.

Wow - ordered Monday, delivered Tuesday in perfect condition (despite the courier dropping it on the pavement!). Huge cage, loads of room. Great access and best of all it looks great. Im really pleased with this, now just need to get some more toys to fill it! This is without doubt the best cage I have seen and I have kept hamsters for over 12 years now. Im going to get another one so I have a matching pair for my boys.

I ordered this cage recently having read some reviews on hamster central. My son has a Syrian hamster who is nearly two and he had become quite calm and slept a lot. Since putting him in this cage he has had a new lease of life. The base is deep to allow a good thick layer of substrate for digging and burrowing and the large size allows for a bigger exercise wheel and lots of toys to keep him happy. The barred roof separated into two doors allows you to hang various toys and boredom breakers whilst the access is large for cleaning, feeding etc. My nine year old son finds it very easy to get his hamster in and out and the cage is great to allow he to take responsibility for his pet whilst under supervision. The hamster used to be in a barred cage and he did like to climb but he seems to much more happy and content in this large new cage. He thas plenty of toys in his cage to climb on. The cage arrived double packed for extra protection and only took two days. The water bottle which comes with the cage is rubbish bit was soon solved by attaching a ferplast sippy bottle. I have also found that he doesn\'t need cleaning out so often where the cage is larger and he has allocated one corner for his toilet which is very easy to keep clean. I would recommend this cage as a lovely home for a Syrian hamster.

I ordered this cage recently having read some reviews on both this company and the cage itself. I had a bad experience a few years ago with a different online shop and it took me a while to summon up the courage to order online again so I was trying to find somewhere reputable to buy from before parting with my cash. Well, I shouldnt have worried - the size of the massive box this came in I thought someone was trying to deliver furniture to me - it was very carefully wrapped and boxed several times over with cardboard wedging everything in place - enough to totally fill my recycling bin for the week! There was also a hand written note inside the box telling me this was a new cage and that comments were welcome on the packaging and cage itself and inviting me to write a review - I was impressed by this as they clearly care about not only the cage getting there in one piece but also what people think of the wrapping and product. It also arrived next day which I was not expecting as I ordered at lunchtime. The cage is brilliant, very spacious and narrow bars so perfect for my hamster. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this cage to anyone with a hamster - it is brilliant although the bottle is a bit fiddly to fix until you get the hang of it. I dont normally leave reviews for things online, but the service this time changed my mind. Very impressive.
