Postage & Packaging
We have business postal collections three times a week both by Royal Mail and
by several courier companies. We will email you at every stage of the process,
informing you of where we are with your order and when you will be receiving
it. It is normal for us to send out several packages to you, just check your
invoice as it will tell you what has been delivered and what is yet to come.
Items will be posted in padded envelopes or plastic mailing bags (whichever
is more suitable). Heavier items will be boxed and posted by courier (eg cages).
Our packages are all clearly marked with our company name and logos. If for
any reason you want your item sent secretly as a present for someone, please
let us know BEFORE we send it so that we can use plain packaging instead.

Yes - the postage really is FREE in the UK for orders £25+. Orders lower
than that will be charged a £2 delivery charge, but even that is lower
than the actual cost of sending most items!
How long will it take to arrive?
That depends on where you are and the service used. 99% of our UK items arrive
UK within 7 working days and overseas items approximately 15 working days. Most
items get there much faster. We will email you when your item is packed and again
when it is sent so that you will have more of an idea when it will arrive. Sometimes
we take orders for items which have a small wait time attached to them - this
will be clearly indicated on the product page. We will endeavour to get these
to you asap.
I want to send a cheque or postal order - is that ok? Yes,
certainly - that is no problem. We can only accept cheques and postal orders
in pounds sterling, however we can accept foreign currency in cash. Please make all cheques
and postal orders payable to EquineCanineFeline
Im not in the UK - how much is shipping to xyz?
Please email us for a personalised quotation. Our site will not automatically
calculate international shipping as we always endeavour to get the cheapest quote
for you. If you would like to order your products, please go ahead and we will
contact you regarding the shipping difference once the products have been weighed
and packed.
I dont want to pay for postage, can I collect?
Yes, no problem. Please give 24 hours notice that you are coming. Our business
address can be found on our contact page.
Returns & Refunds
We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on ALL our items!
We want you to be thrilled with your purchase. If for any reason you are not,
then just return it for a refund. The following conditions apply to refunds:
1. You must let us know you wish to return it within three days of recieving
it, at which point we will confirm the address to return to.
2. We will refund the purchase amount minus postage costs both ways. If your package was sent out with a promotional "free postage" discount applied due to value, we will deduct the actual postal cost based on weight.
3. The item has to be in new condition with tags still attached (if applicable)
for you to return it and we must recieve it within 7 days of your email.
4. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE RETURN OF ANY ITEM YOU WISH TO SEND BACK.
We recommend using recorded delivery for this purpose or at the very least getting
a certificate of posting! We are not responsible for any missing items which
have been posted without a traceable delivery service.
Damaged Items
Royal Mail damaged items: If your item sent by Royal Mail arrives
damaged, get in touch. Keep all packaging and photograph damages for claim.
Courier damaged items: If you sign for any item sent by courier and
it is later found to be damaged the couriers will not honour any claim for damage unless it was clearly indicated at the time you signed for it
(their terms, not ours). We strongly suggest that you unpack and check the cage
while the courier is with you BEFORE signing for it. If the cage is damaged
in any way, clearly write DAMAGED by your signature. Failure to do so would
mean that the courier will not compensate for the damage and that we are not
able to replace your cage. In the rare event of damage all packaging must be
kept for inspection by the carrier. The item must be available for inspection
in the state it was delivered, at the address it was delivered to. If the item
is moved / repaired or if the packaging is not kept any claim will be voided.
Photographs of the internal and external packaging as well as the damaged item
must be supplied to start a claim. If you use an item you wish to claim for as damaged, that is viewed as acceptance of the item under the distance selling regulations and no claim will be honoured by the courier companies.
