| What can I say about this cage except it fantastic! Very easy to assemble - Only requires one person. The instructions are ok, as it has picture diagrams, but really not needed, as the parts are quite self explanatory. The colours are tasteful too, not like some of these brightly coloured ones that appeal to children more than the adult pet owners among us. My cage now houses four male rats, but could easily house up to six. Good quality finish and very robust bars, with lovely narrow bar spacing. It has a metal litter tray and optional wire floor. I use mine without the wire flooring, and its fine The feeding station is a nice touch, and the lock on the door is good too. I can see this cage lasting a good few years, as once assembled its really quite sturdy. The wooden shelves are very good quality, and attach to the bars using proper screws that are easy to remove for cleaning. Its a large cage, but doesn't look overpowering in a room like many others. And the Courier used was very helpful indeed. Thank you ECF.. you've made four boy rats very happy, and an owner who thinks cleaning out times is a pleasure now. |

| I love the end product of this item in its fully constructed state but there was a few kinks to sort out first.
The cage really can be put together by one person as its pretty simple to build, despite the brief instructions being in German. However, mine came with bent legs that had to be straightened out which nearly resulted in breaking them clean off. So be careful if the legs are bent.
This cage is very sturdy due to the good quality of materials used. It looks good and is easy enough to clean. The pull out tray and wide doors allow for quick and brisk cleaning and moving about of toys.
Versatility is a bonus aspect of the Atalanta cages. Three Shelves and three ladders are provided with the cage which allow for essay changes to be made to the cage to help create new space or provide new access to different areas.
My four females rats seem very pleased with their new cage. Would, and have, recommend this product to other rat owners as the cage is big enough to house several rats at a time, but not overly big that it takes up a lot of space within the home.
Despite the bent legs and a flimsy door where the tray slides in, i genuinely like this product and recommend to others |

| This is a really lovely cage, very pleased with it! :) It's really easy to put together (I did it without help) and because of the castors it's super easy to move it around. The bar spacing is perfect for rats and the full depth shelves are much better than corner shelves you tend to get with other cages. Access to all parts of the cage is easy so cleaning it out is a breeze. I have to say it looks really nice too, it has a really high quality feel to it. The external access bowls are really handy as it means I can feed my rats without them all leaping out of the cage!
The only thing I can really find wrong with this cage is that bedding tends to escape out the back and front where the slide out tray is - but as long as the cage is on an easy to sweep floor this isn't really an issue. Over the years I've found it doesn't matter what cage you have rats always find a way to get bedding on your nice clean floor :)
This cage can house 5-6 rats but of course it could be a wonderful mansion for a trio! |
